KidsAbility offers the UCLA PEERS® for Adolescents program, facilitated by Lindsie Driver, Youth Engagement Lead and Recreation Therapist.[22] Sessions include lessons, role-play demonstrations and group social activities.[22]

Schedule: Wednesdays, September 30–December 2, 2026, 18:00–19:30 local time (America/Toronto), for ten weeks.[22][63] Location: KidsAbility Waterloo Site, 500 Hallmark Drive, Waterloo.[22][63]

For adolescents ages 14–17 who experience friendship or social-interaction challenges, want to attend voluntarily, and can participate independently and consistently.[22]

Caregiver participation is required: caregivers attend separate sessions at the same time and must commit to supporting participation outside the group.[22]
